You must be logged in to place online bids. If you do not have an account, click the "Login/Register" link in the upper-right corner of your screen, then click "Create an Account" at the bottom of the window to begin creating your account.
Once your account has been created, you will need to log in to the catalog of your choice and agree to the terms and conditions. You will need to accept the account creation terms and conditions, as well as the auction terms and conditions for each auction you register for.
After the auction company approves your registration, you can place your bid(s).
Once you have logged into either MarkNet.com or the affiliate company’s website, you may place a bid from an individual lot on the catalog or lot detail page.
Before your bid is finalized, you will be prompted to confirm your bid amount.
When you click "Bid Now," you will see the following prompt:
"You are about to enter a legally binding contract. Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted. Do not bid unless you intend to buy this item at the amount of your bid."
A text box will appear where you can enter your bid amount in the format of $X.XX. You may also enter a maximum bid, and the window includes a blue (?) icon that explains what a maximum bid is.
Once you have verified the amount you wish to bid, click "Confirm Bid."
If the Ultimate Choice Bidding Platform is being utilized, there is no maximum bidding feature. After selecting the lot or combination of lots and clicking "Get Price," you will have two options. You can click "Submit Bid" to enter the displayed bid amount, or you can enter a higher bid amount in the space provided. Your bid will be submitted at the exact amount entered. This is not a maximum bid feature.
You will receive an email notification if you have been outbid. If available, you can also receive text notifications. Notifications can be configured from your Account Settings under the Preferences tab.
